The staff at Tooling & Production would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year! With so much tragedy and sadness to deal with in recent days, we hope you have the chance to take a break from work and spend some quality time with your family over the holidays.

As we look back on the manufacturing industry in 2015, the numbers aren't terrible but they're certainly not spectacular. While many forecasts call for a flat 2016, we remain optimistic that emerging trends such as Additive Manufacturing and the Internet of Things will brighten the outlook for the new year.

Here at Nelson Publishing, we're happy to report that our eNewsletters -- Modern Applications News (MAN), Tooling & Production (T&P), and the Manufacturing Center Product Spotlight -- have again experienced substantial growth over this past year, and for that, we are grateful. While we are excited by the thought of even more growth in the days ahead, we always enjoy taking a quick look back. Why not? MAN's proud history dates back to 1967 while T&P celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2015!

In that spirit, we have once again put together our annual "Best of 2015" issue. We have compiled two lists -- the Top 10 Most Read Features and Top 10 Most Read Product Spotlights, as judged by our readers. We hope you enjoy these stories and catch some helpful information you may have missed the first time around. Again, we want to thank you for your loyalty to our publications and we'd like to wish you a successful and prosperous 2016!
